Charles Lee joined Edward Erdman in 1967 and became a Director in 1973, working across a number of disciplines including investment, retail agency and development. In 1989, he was appointed Chairman and also chaired the European Board of Colliers International, a worldwide property advisory organisation, and was a member of their World Board of Management. In addition, he was a member of the Board of the British Council of Shopping Centres.

Since 1995, he has led his own retail consultancy practice and has been closely aligned with Catalyst Capital.
