Another Substantial New Letting At Ship Canal House

2nd Nov 2010

Chartered accountants CLB Coopers have taken the entire fifth floor at Ship Canal House office building on King Street, Manchester city centre. The firm has agreed on a ten year lease for the 6,655 sq ft office.

David Travis, managing partner of CLB Coopers, said: "We wanted to maintain our presence within the prime core and it was important that we found a quality building in a prestigious location. Ship Canal House is a stunning building and will provide an excellent working environment for our staff. We have selected a building that will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of the business."

The transaction follows HBJ Gateley Wareing's move to the building in August. Will Kennon, from CB Richard Ellis, who advised Catalyst Capital, added: "This latest letting at Ship Canal House represents a buoyant 12 months for the letting team, during which we have successfully let in excess of 40,000 sq ft to three high profile occupiers. The success is testament to the quality of Grade A refurbishment that has been delivered by Catalyst Capital, and there are now only two floors remaining at the landmark building on King Street."
